Ashley Williams

 Ashley Williams Dodson, born on November 12th, 1978, is an American actress. Her TV roles include The Jim Gaffigan show on TV Land, and Good Morning Miami on NBC. Williams played opposite Josh Radnor in the CBS series How I Met Your Mother. In the past she's appeared on more than a dozen TV pilots. Also, she filmed over 150 television episodes which included The Hallmark Channel and Lifetime Television. She has appeared in studio and independent films as well as regional theatre, Off-Broadway as well as on Broadway. She is the daughter of Linda Barbara and Gurney Williams III (a freelance health and science writer). Kimberly Williams-Paisley is her older sister, and she's also the spouse of Brad Paisley, country music singer. She graduated with a bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Theatre in May 2001.
