Ellen Barkin
Ellen Barkin is a quirky stunning, beautiful and unusually attractive woman who is absolutely captivating. She was the daughter of Evelyn (Rozin), an administrator in a hospital, as well as Sol Barkin (a chemical salesman). Both of her parents come of Russian Jewish families. They were raised in Queens and in the South Bronx, New York. When she was a teenager she aspired to be an actor. After getting accepted to the Manhattan's High School of the Performing Arts, Barkin went on to Hunter College, where she double majored in history and drama. She was interested in teaching the ancient history of the past at one point, but she chose to return to her first passion, acting. Barkin continued her studies at the New York's Actor's Studio. She was apprehensive about the audition process, and she studied acting for another seven years before securing her first audition. She was waitress at the avant-garde Ocean Club while continuing her studies. She appeared off-Broadway in plays like "Shout across the River" (1979) and "Extremities" (1983).
