Fran Drescher

 Francine Joy Drescher is an American actor, comedian as well as a writer and activist. Her character in the role of Fran on the TV show 'The Nanny' which ran from 1993 to 1999 was her most well-known role. Her character is also famous for her distinct New York accent and nasal voice. Her screen debut came in the film "Saturday Night Fever" She was also included in "American Hot Wax" as well as Wes Craven's horror film, "Stranger in Our House", in 1978. When she appeared as an actor in various guest roles on TV shows and films, her TV career had already established.
