Heather Graham

Heather Joan Graham was the daughter of James Graham, an FBI agent, as well as Joan (Bransfield), who both taught in schools and authors of children's literature. The rigid Catholic parents raised her as well as their sister Aimee Graham. Due to the job of Heather's father and mother, they were often in and out of the house, and Heather began to shy. It was surprising to discover that her love for acting started at a young age. Although she was referred to as"a "theater geek" by her classmates, her senior class was voted her the most talented. Her love of acting led to tension between her family and her. But, Heather was encouraged by her mother to try out for roles for roles in Hollywood and was offered minor roles in a few films, including Drugstore Cowboy (1989). Heather chose to pursue a degree in acting at the University of California at Los Angeles when her acting career did not develop as quickly as she had planned. She was found by James Woods, an actor who was studying who was a student at UCLA. Woods also offered her a role in Diggstown (1992).
