Jack Black
Jack Black is an American actor and producer who is best known for his witty role in films such as "School of Rock, "Tenacious D" in the Pick of Destiny', and 'Gulliver's Adventures. His voice-over roles in the Kung Fu Panda franchise are also popular. He was born in Culver City, and went to the Poseidon School and Culver City High School. He was in commercials when he was 13 years old. He was a student at Crossroads High School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, where he discovered his acting talents. He was the main character in a variety of television shows and films, including "Life Goes On, Northern Exposure', 'The Innocent', 'The X Files' and the 'Mr. He was also in 'Picket Fences' as well as Life Goes On. In 1992, he appeared in Bob Roberts' first movie part. His first big role came in the film "High Fidelity." He was in many lead parts in films like "Shallow Hal," "Nacho LIbre"and "Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny' and 'Year One' and 'Gulliver's Adventures. He has voiced characters for animated films, and also performed. The role he played in the film "School of Rock" earned him praise from critics. Black received nominations for the 'Best Vocal Award' for his performance in the role of Eddie Riggs in the video game Brutal Legend. Jack Black, a musician and the lead singer of the group "Tenacious D," which was co-founded by him and Kyle Gass, is also a musician.
