Johnny Depp
John Christopher "Johnny" Depp II, born on June 9 1963 in Owensboro (Kentucky) to Betty Sue Palmer (nee Wells) who worked as a waitress as well being John Christopher Depp, a civil engineering engineer. The couple was raised in Florida. When he reached the age of 15 old, he quit of school and joined several music-gaiety groups, such as "The Kids". He landed a job selling ballpoint pens to support his wife Lori A. Depp when they was married. He was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet Nicolas Cage in Los Angeles who suggested that he attempt acting. The result was Depp's first film appearance in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). Depp played the role of a teenage girl who is taken over by the demon who stalks dreams Freddy Krueger. After a string of films geared towards teens his first film collaboration with Tim Burton was in 1990 when he portrayed the title character of Edward Scissorhands (1990). Following the success of the film, Depp established himself as an actor of serious stature.
