Judy Greer
Judy Greer was raised in Detroit, Michigan as Judith Therese Evans. She is the daughter of Mollie Ann (nee Greer), who was an ex-nun as well as a hospital administrator as well as Richard Evans. Richard Evans is an engineer in the mechanical field. Greer is of Scottish, English, Welsh and German heritage. After 10 years of instruction in the classical Russian ballet, Greer switched her focus on acting. She was accepted into Chicago's highly regarded Theatre School, DePaul University. Greer landed her first screen role just three days after having graduated. The role was a minor part in the comedy of Jason Lee and David Schwanger Kissing a Fool (1998). Greer traveled to Los Angeles to see the film's premier, and did not leave. Greer was offered a role in Jawbreaker (1999) which she starred in alongside Rose McGowan, Rebecca Gayheart and Rebecca Gayheart. Greer starred as a school wallflower-turned-babe in a story about high school girls who accidentally kill their best friend and try to cover up the murder.
