Julia Roberts

 Julia Roberts is an internationally well-known and highly respected actor. She is most well-known for her performances in films such as 'Pretty Woman and 'Steel Magnolias', and 'Erin Brockovich. When she was a kid she was aspired to pursue a variety of careers, but she was not an actor. As she grew older she discovered her true passion and set out on the path to becoming an actor. To fulfill her dream of becoming an actress, she dropped out of college halfway. Julia came to New York to pursue acting trainingwhile also working as a model in order to support her financially. In time, she was able to be cast in her first TV role. In the end, due to her acting skills she was able to get her first role on the big screen. While she wasn't able to get the roles of a full length she desired but her performance in tiny roles was enough to garner her recognition. The first Golden Globe Award she received was for 'Steel Magnolias that marked a significant moment in her professional career. The first time she was recognized was for her role as the lead in the film 'Pretty Woman that brought immense fame and proved that she was going to be around for the long haul. Her performance in "Erin Brockovich" added to her standing in the film industry. She has a huge fan base today.
