 Kristy Swanson Kristy Swanson, an American actress from California, is Kristy Swanson. In the 80s, she's been a regular actor. Her most well-known role was her part in the role of Buffy Summers, the original Buffy from the 1992 horror film "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". It's located 49 miles (79 km) southwest of Los Angeles in a hilly region. Swanson began acting in the early years of her childhood. When she was nine years old Swanson started to look for roles in commercials for TV. The first commercial she appeared in was about dollhouses. In the following years she continued to be featured in commercials. Swanson first appeared on TV in 1984, in short-term roles. Her character in the role of Stephanie Brandon on the 1985 episode of "On the Street" (Cagney and Lacey) was one of her most memorable. She played an aspiring prostitute in the teen years and was also a key witness in the trial of a murder. Swanson was nominated for a Young Performer Award winner, which is the "Best Young Actress-Guest in a TV Series" award. Jaclyn Bernstein, who was a rival actress, was awarded the prize.
