 Lindsay Lohan is without doubt one of the most adored and controversial actresses of the past. Although her modeling career was her first venture, she quickly gained fame for her acting skills. She started receiving invitations from Hollywood. After appearing in a variety of soap-operas and dramas, she made her motion-picture debut in the classic Disney film 'The Parent Trap'. This was her first big role. The actress was later included in several films, including 'FreakyFriday and Herbie Fully Loaded' and 'A Prairie Home Companion. The album she released her debut album, 'Speak', was released, it was followed by 'A Little More Personal. Both albums were certified gold or platinum. The career of the singer was successful however, she faced several issues and was involved in controversy. She had a difficult relationship with her father. She frequently went to rehabilitation centers, that cost her numerous film contracts. The actress eventually got over her issues and started her own clothing line and then she returned to acting. In addition, she had to deal with various legal issues.

  Emilie Ullerup-Petersen was brought up in Denmark by her father Ove Ullerup-Petersen (a Jurist and diplomat) who was also an eminent ambassador to Denmark in Vietnam.
