Steve Carell

 Steve Carell is America's most well-known comic. He was born Steven John Carell in Concord, Massachusetts, on August 16 1962. He is the son of of Harriet Theresa (Koch) who is an Obstetrician, as well as Edwin A. Carell (an electrical engineer). His mother was Polish and his father was German. (Steve's grandfather changed his name from Caroselli to Carell). Steve was a student at The Fenn School, a private school for boys situated in Concord, Massachusetts. He was then enrolled in Middlesex School in Concord. After graduation from Denison University, Granville, Ohio He moved to Chicago to teach improv comedy and to perform with The Second City troupe alongside Stephen Colbert. He was chosen to be a part of The Dana Carvey Show in 1996. He also played Gary who was opposite Colbert in "The Ambiguously Gay Duo". Robert Smigel produced the animated short-form series.
